The education system and the culture.

Do you ever wonder how you are educated in the system itself? Have you ever wondered that our education system has an impression of educating us to be leaders, but in fact, it is educating us to be good employees(manager post by most). This is regrettably sad but it is how it will be for a long long time to go. So as for this, we can say the education system is bad right?

But if you take a second thought, if you try or step your foot outside for yourself to gain experience from working with others, working, competitions etc, you can really be a leader itself. Not through the education system but with your own effort.

Being a barrier is the Malaysian culture of the "tidak apa" attitude and the "face" attitude is really sad to say, fucked up to me. The "tidak apa" attitude of delaying and procrastinating in the things one may do, for example, "assignment ar? tommorrow do-lah, still got time what, tomorrow only pass up mah!" and the "face" attitude of keeping one's pride too high. I have been to situations where some "Want-Alot-Faces-Wannabe" won't even ask for directions when they are lost and won't even care to ask for the price of a merchandise in the shopping complexes, its as if they would explode if they open their mouth or they would rot when they approaches other human beings( and trust me they are not shy, ok?).

So, to make things short and not waste time(my housemate is starving, waiting for me). The students DO NOT WANT to involve themselves in curricular activities, resulting a lack in leadership and socializing skills or we would say human skills which is very important for us business students years to come. And to make things worst, they blame the education system.

To me, the education can be as crappy as it can be, but our effort is all it takes for us to step forward to a successful future.
